Support that begins with understanding the resident
OneStone Oak Senior Living is a family-owned assisted living community at 20718 Stone Oak Pkwy in San Antonio's Stone Oak neighborhood. With 16 private bedrooms and shared living spaces, the community offers a residential environment for families exploring daily support for a loved one.
The first step is an assessment of physical and medical needs. Call 210-436-8669 to discuss what help is needed, ask about suitability, and arrange a visit. The community is licensed by Texas HHSC as a Type B assisted living facility, License #311593. Admission and availability must be confirmed directly.
Everyday care and familiar routines
Care staff are on duty around the clock. Support may include assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, mobility, medications, and other daily routines according to the agreed care arrangement. Ask the team to explain how your family member's specific needs would be supported and what the community cannot provide.
Shared areas include dining and living spaces, a covered patio, and garden areas. Discuss meal preferences, daily routines, and family communication during the assessment rather than relying on a general service list.
Understand the rooms and bathrooms
All 16 bedrooms are private. Bathrooms are communal rather than en suite. View our private-room page and the actual floor plan, then ask to walk the layout during your visit. The community was designed with memory care needs in mind; that statement does not establish a separate memory care certification or acceptance of every related need.
Clear pricing and practical policies
The monthly rate is based on assessment. The quoted rate is all-inclusive, without separate level-of-care charges. Call for updated pricing. The one-time community fee is $1,500 when you contact us directly. OneStone Oak is private pay only and does not accept Medicaid or Texas Medicaid STAR+PLUS.
Visiting hours are daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No pets, smoking, or vaping are permitted. Respite stays are available with a minimum of 30 days, subject to assessment and availability.
Prepare for a useful visit
Bring questions about care, staffing, bathrooms, pricing, and communication. Our family guides include a 25-question tour checklist and a guide to comparing small and large communities. Call 210-436-8669 to schedule an assessment or tour.
